काना मधील जंतुसंसर्ग किंवा ओटायटीस मीडिया ही एक अशी परिस्थिती आहे ज्यामध्ये काना च्या मधल्या भागामध्ये काही प्रकारचा जंतुसंसर्ग होतो आणि सूज निर्माण होते. ओटायटीस मीडिया मुळे लहान मुलांमध्ये बहिरेपणा येऊ शकतो आणि काही वेळा प्रौढ लोकांमध्ये सुद्धा तो येऊ शकतो. ताप, ऐकण्यामध्ये समस्या, उलट्या, काना मधून स्त्राव इत्यादी लक्षणे ओटायटीस मीडिया मध्ये दिसून येतात. जर तुमची लक्षणे गंभीर होत असतील तर काना च्या हॉस्पिटलला लवकर भेट द्या.
एक घशा मध्ये निर्माण होणारी सामान्य परिस्थिती आहे ज्यामध्ये घशाच्या मागील बाजूस वसलेल्या टॉन्सिल्स मध्ये सुज निर्माण होते. सामान्यपणे ही परिस्थिती विषाणूंच्या संसर्गामुळे निर्माण होते परंतु काहीवेळा जीवाणूंच्या संसर्गामुळे देखील निर्माण होते. टॉन्सिल्स मध्ये सूज, गिळताना अडचण किंवा समस्या, सोअर थ्रोट - घसा बसणे आणि वेदनादायक लिंफ नोड्स इत्यादी टॉन्सिलायटीस ची लक्षणे आहेत.
हा एक झोपेचा गंभीर विकार आहे. या प्रकारामध्ये रात्री झोप लागलेली असताना अचानक पणे आणि सतत श्वासोच्छवास थांबतो आणि सुरु होतो. वाढते वयोमान आणि लठ्ठपणा हे दोन स्लिप ऍप्नीया चे जोखमीचे घटक आहेत. रात्रीच्या झोपेमध्ये जोरदारपणे आणि मोठ्याने घोरणे आणि रात्रीची पुरेशी झोप घेतल्यानंतर देखील अत्यंत थकवा जाणवणे किंवा दमल्यासारखे वाटणे इत्यादी स्लिप ऍप्नीया ची लक्षणे आहेत.
नाकाच्या परिच्छेदा सभोवतालच्या पोकळ्यांचा हा जंतूसंसर्ग आहे. जिवाणू, ऍलर्जी, विषाणु, बुरशी, धूम्रपाण इत्यादी बऱ्याच कारणांमुळे ही परिस्थिती निर्माण होते. जर वेळीच उपचार केले नाहीत तर तात्पुरत्या जंतुसंसर्गाचे बऱ्याच दिवसांच्या जंतुसंसर्गा मध्ये रूपांतर होते. या परिस्थितीसाठी नंतर नाकाची शस्त्रक्रिया ( एफ इ एस एस ) उत्तम कान, नाक आणि घसा हॉस्पिटल मध्ये करावी लागते. चेहऱ्यामध्ये वेदना, वाहते नाक, डोकेदुखी आणि नाक चोंदणे इत्यादी सायनसच्या जंतुसंसर्गाची लक्षणे आहेत.
नाका मधून रक्त स्त्राव येणे या परिस्थितीमध्ये नाका मधून उस्फूर्तपणे किंवा एखादी इजा झाल्याने रक्तस्त्राव सुरू होतो. कोरडे नाक, नाकामध्ये बोट घालने, चेहरा किंवा नाकाची इजा, नाकामध्ये एखादी वस्तू घालणे इत्यादी कारणांमुळे नाका मधून रक्तस्त्राव सुरु होऊ शकतो.
लाळ ग्रंथीचा कर्करोग आणि थायरॉइडचा कर्करोग नेहमीच एकत्र निर्माण होतात कारण डोके आणि माने मधील कर्करोगाची लक्षणीय सुरुवातीच्या काळामध्ये दिसून येत नाहीत.
माने मध्ये सुजलेल्या ग्रंथी, मानेच्या समोरील भागा मध्ये गाठ, घसा किंवा माने मध्ये वेदना, आवाजामधील कर्कशपणा आणि गिळताना किंवा श्वास घेताना समस्या इत्यादी थायरॉईडच्या कर्करोगाची सामान्यपणे आढळणारी लक्षणे आहेत.
चेहरा, हनुवटी, जबड्याचे हाड व मान यांमध्ये वेदना किंवा सूज, चेहरा, तोंड किंवा मान यांवर वेदना नसलेली गाठ, चेहऱ्या वरील बधिरपणा किंवा वाढत असलेला चेहऱ्याच्या स्नायूंचा पक्षाघात इत्यादी लाळ ग्रंथींच्या कर्करोगाची लक्षणे आहेत.

Otitis media can result in hearing loss in children and sometimes in the adults, too. Symptoms of otitis media can include Fever, hearing problems, vomiting, ear drainage, etc.
- 2. Tonsillitis - It is a common throat condition in which two tissues present at the back of the throat get inflamed. It is commonly caused by a viral infection but sometimes it can be caused by a bacterial infection, too. Symptoms of tonsillitis include swollen tonsils, difficulty in swallowing, sore throat, and tender lymph nodes, etc.
- 3. Sleep apnea - It is a serious sleep disorder in which while sleeping, the breathing suddenly and repeatedly stops and starts. People with increasing age and obesity can be a risk factor behind sleep apnea. Symptoms of Sleep apnea include snoring loudly at night and feeling extremely tired after sleeping for enough hours at night.
- 4. Sinus Infections - It is a condition of infection and inflammation in the cavities around the nasal passages. It can be caused by a lot of reasons like bacteria, allergies, viruses, smoking, etc. Chronic sinus infection go on its own whereas acute sinus infection can last up to eight weeks. Symptoms of Sinus Infection include facial pain, runny nose, headache and nasal congestion.
- 5. Nosebleeds - Nose Bleeding is a condition of bleeding from nose either spontaneous or as a result of some trauma. There are various causes behind nose bleeding like the dry nose, nose picking, face or nose injury, insertion of an object in the nose, etc.
